Stratgies

♦ Capacity building and the strengthening of partner organizations, civil society organizations,   and stakeholder organizations in the Government, Nongovernment, and Private sectors.

♦  Designing and implementing alcohol and drug prevention interventions in Community Development focusing on the community, divisional, district, and national level.

♦  Monitoring and reviewing the implementation of national laws, policies and programmes for women’s rights, child rights protection and promotion, and the prevention of the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other substances..

♦  Mobilizing and strengthening civil society groups to work against the spread of alcohol and drug use, child rights and women’s rights violations, and related problems at the community level.

♦   Enhancing the capacity of youth groups through Healthy Lanka’s youth wing, Healthy Lanka 4U towards strengthening people to create healthy living conditions.
