Organization Structures

Healthy Lanka is a specialized agency that uses scientific and evidence based knowledge and information on reducing alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, to promote a healthy and rights fulfilled environment within the community.
The organisation is governed by a Management Panel comprising the General Secretary, the Programme Director, Programme Manager, and the Administration and Finance Manager all of who are based in Colombo at the Healthy Lanka Head Office. Other key staff at the Head Office include the Programme Monitoring and Administration Officer and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer whose task is to oversee operations on the field, the Media Officer who coordinates communications via print and electronic media, and the Information and Documentation Officer who is in charge of reporting, research, and other communications. All matters concerning funding and finances are handled by our Administration and Finance Manager and Administration and Finance Officer, also based in our Head Office.
Field Operations in our working locations outside Colombo are overseen by our Field Programme Coordinators stationed in each district. The Field Programme Coordinators are responsible for implementing community and district level activities and presenting regular progress reports to the Head Office. Further, we have established Civil Society Organisations in each community in which we work. These organisations ensure the continuity of the programmes initiated by our organisation.
