Objective

•  To enable social development rooted in justice and equity through civil society participation and social mobilizationtowards the enhancement of the status of women, the establishment of a healthy environment for children, and the creation of a society free from alcohol and drugs.

•    To protect and promote a culture and society which functions well without the use of intoxicants (alcohol tobacco and drugs), paying concurrently due attention to the social development of the community.

•    To create an environment where civil society organizations involved in activities promoting health and preventing the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

•    To develop and advocate an understanding on alcohol and drug related problems based on the public health perspective and develop appropriate prevention programmes, with the possibility of integrating them in programmes for development.

•    To empower women to speak up for their rights, take a stand against substance use and gender based violence, and advocate for policy level changes.

•    To facilitate the healthy physical and mental development of children, educating them on good health and hygiene practices and the child rights and the importance of protecting their rights, empowering them to ensure the protection of their rights, and developing their capacities as confident, well informed citizens of the country.

•    To promote social and economic justice and empowerment and eliminate oppressive social conditions through social action, community action, training, and policy advocacy.

•   To prepare community leaders, field staff and activists for professional social change practices and professional leadership at local, district and national level.

•    To develop theoretical and practical models that effectively and efficiently deal with the social problems and can be replicated by NGOs state and private sector.

•    To provide technical assistance to organizations, projects and groups to enhance their expertise on
